Hacker News contributor Alex Zawodny has put together a guide for anyone who wants to get away with a quick slide from the popular SlideShare website.
The slide will then appear in your email inbox.
If you’re looking for something a bit more expensive, you can use the $2-50 price tag as an incentive.

How to get free slide for $5 If you’re one of those 10,001 people that has already signed up to receive the newsletter and want to get it delivered to you free of charge, you have two options: 1.

This will bring you to the SlideShare homepage.
Click the sign up link below, which will bring up the sign-up form.
If the email subscription is already open, click the green “Sign up” button to sign up for your email.
This is the same link that will send you to a page with instructions on how to download the free software.
Click that link and follow the instructions.
If this email isn’t already open and you don’t have an email subscription, click on the green sign-in button below.
This page will take you to an application that will let you download the software.
After you’ve downloaded the software, open it up by clicking on the “Download” button.
From there, you should be able to open the download file.
If that’s not happening, make sure you’ve installed the latest version of SlideShare, as well as the latest LibreOffice, the open source file manager for office productivity.

The download file will take about 15-20 minutes to download.
Once it’s done, open up your email and send the link to yourself.
After a few seconds, you will get an email with a link that takes you to this page.
Here, you need to fill out some more information about yourself and then click on “Submit.”
The email will ask you to input your zip code and email address.
You will be redirected to the email you entered above, which is the email that was sent to you.
The free software is now ready for download, so you can click “Download.”
Once it is installed, you’re ready to start.
