Sedona, Arizona – Intex Water Co. Inc. and Slide Mountain Inc. will unveil a new indoor and outdoor slide system at its new site in Sedona.
The $3.5 billion facility, built by the city of Sedona in Arizona, will offer an array of slide attractions, such as a water slide and sand slide, along with a new outdoor water slide park that will open later this year.
Slides can be played on a wide variety of water surfaces and are also offered for sale at the resort’s theme park.
The new water slide complex, which is expected to be completed by mid-2019, will be the company’s first outdoor facility.
It will be built in the former amusement park, formerly known as the Arizona National Park.
Slide Mountain will expand the company to offer other indoor and indoor-outdoor water slides for use at the new facility.
Slideshow Mountain has been one of the largest slide manufacturers in the world, with more than 1,000 facilities in over 200 countries.
The company says its slide and slide park has more than 700 attractions across 30 countries.
Intex plans to expand its operations into the outdoor water park, including the new water slides.
Sliding at Slide Mountain will be a two-hour experience for guests of all ages, with slides available in three categories: a short slide, an intermediate slide and a long slide.
The two- and three-hour sessions start at 6:15 a.m.
The water slide system is expected for completion by 2019.
The water slides are expected to open to the public on May 24, 2019.
