President Donald Trump’s administration has unveiled a slate of Cabinet appointments that is set to include a wide variety of conservative positions that will help him enact his agenda.
Trump’s Cabinet has also announced that it will nominate to be Secretary of Labor Tom Perez to head the Labor Department, a White House official told Politico.
The White House also confirmed that it has appointed former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) to be the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Trump has nominated Rep. Scott Garrett (R) to serve as the United States Trade Representative, a Trump administration official told The Hill.
The Trump administration has also named former Rep.(R-NJ) to run the Department to oversee the trade policy of the United Nations, a senior White House aide told Politico, a position that the aide added was “highly unlikely” to be filled.
The administration also confirmed the appointment of former Rep(R-TX) to lead the Office of Management and Budget.
The president’s administration is also confirming that it is nominating former Rep of Florida John Carter to be Assistant Secretary of Commerce.
The White House said Carter was “an expert in international economic policy and the U.S. trade policy,” the official said.
Carter will be in charge of “economic policy issues related to the United Nation’s International Trade Commission and international financial institutions.”
The White Senate will also confirm that former Rep.,(R), will be the U
